Excessed in June, still job hunting in July: What am I doing wrong?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice regarding the current hiring cycle. I was excessed at the beginning of June and have been applying for positions since then. While I am currently working 'Summer Rising' at another school in my district, I have only managed to land three interviews for the upcoming school year.

I’m starting to get really anxious about not having a position secured for September. I am a certified ENL teacher (k-12) and I am open to working in elementary or high schools. Does anyone have advice on how to improve my outreach or stand out to principals at this stage of the summer? I’d appreciate any tips on how to navigate this!
