Brave debloated Vs firefox hardened: Which setup is the ultimate daily driver?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to decide between two specific setups for my daily driver and wanted to see what you all think.
Which one are you picking for the best mix of speed, privacy, and everyday stability?
Option 1: Brave (Debloated)
Using the Chris Titus WinUtil script to completely gut the extra stuff—turning off Leo AI, the crypto wallet, VPN, and rewards—just keeping a clean Chromium base.
Option 2: Firefox (Hardened)
A stock Firefox install running the BetterFox user.js config to speed things up and tighten security without constantly breaking websites.
uBlock Origin will be running on Firefox with only region filters added and on brave it's shields will be on default
Does the stripped-down Chromium engine in Brave still feel snappier to you, or does the hardened Firefox setup win out for long-term privacy and customization? Let me know what you're running!
