World of books- A tale as old as time

I’ve ordered here a few times now and I’m very mixed on how they manage, their items. First of all I only collect series I’m interested in and I’m not too bothered on the quality of books I just like them to be presentable. Recently I got interested in the Scott Pilgrim book series and decided that my other times ordering from here was good enough and I can get them here cheaper than any other place.

They’re always odd when grading their products quality, and I bought these at their best second hand quality.

So the package arrives.. I open it and out pops volume one.. it’s fine it’s good enough quality minor damage but I’m fine with it.. it looks good enough. Volume two was probably the best of the bunch still tiny damage but even better. Oh boy then I take out volume three and well it’s creased all over the spine has a tear in it and the blurb is missing a chunk out of it. It’s also kinda dirty as-well which was easy enough to clean up but it’s very unimpressive. Went back and yeah still best quality. It’s annoying but not the end of the world the inside seems fine and that all that really matters to me at least I can still enjoy it. Just can’t help but feel a little underwhelmed.

I’ve bought a few things before as I said and it’s fine but if you want mint condition items I’d skip this tbh it can be a gamble
