Up a dose

I took my last 0.5 dose Saturday night and I've ordered the 1.0 dose to start next week.

I find that the 0.5 is only really working about 3 days a week which is why I've gone up the dose hoping that the higher dose will work 5 or even 6 days a week.

Is this the right way of thinking how it works?
