Rehab Realization-VA / F / S /44/ disabled/ dual diagnosis/medicaid / MAT patient

*\* taking a breath-gulp!*

* *Ok, here it goes .. I am a 44 yr old female from southwest Virginia who has been in active addiction for the last 9 months. With what..? Well I’m a methadone patient first off. Have been for 5 long years, 4 of those years I worked the methadone MAT perfectly. I was even told I was one of their best patients that was complying with the program. Things happen unfortunately.
A girl I knew through clinic needed a dog sitter and I offered to help. Everything was great , walking my dog and hers was one of my favorite things to do every morning. She had called one morning wanting to see her dog. I felt bad and told her; “ok.” She comes over, we are talking and, she breaks out ..let’s just say; paraphernalia, for some umm.. a methamphetamine.. Yes 🙌 I know! Well she asked me if I wanted some. I normally am a downer girl but that day I was weak. I said no and she said.. “Come on we’ll smoke and have fun. It’ll make you feel good.” So I did.
Here I am now 9 mos later lost everything. A meaningful relationship of 15 yrs . My dog. Material things . Even my home. Yes, like a country song. It’s sad but I could’ve said no. I didn’t think I would get so hooked but I did. So I am at the point now I want better. I want the old me or better even. I know I can because I have before. I am ready for a rehab and I’d like to find one that is highly recommended for my situation. I will be working with access tomorrow and my mental health team. I thought I’d put this out there to see if I could get more help and be pointed in right direction. Please be sensitive to my emotional state and try to be understanding. I have been unequivocally open here. So if anyone can help please leave some knowledge. Thanks for listening!✌️🩷
