I co-found a software review site—honest question: do you still have any faith in any of these review sites out there?

I am employed by a SaaS review & comparison site, so I’m asking this question from the inside of the machine. G2, Capterra—we are all now presumed to be incentivizing our reviews.

When choosing software, what do you trust? Reddit discussion boards? Only free trial? The actual reviewer? Serious question about the future of review platforms. “Trust us” obviously doesn’t cut it.
