Is there a silent footsteps glitch now?

After the latest patch, in previously friendly duo lobbies we were insta-killed 3 times by players with Bobcat IVs who seemed to rush us without making a sound?

Anyone had anything similar?

After the first we were prepared for the second two. Second I was trying to exfil at Southern on Buried City knowing they would likely chase. I waited until the last moment of the doors, mates in hand, in total silence.. and not a sound came, knowing that they either have to zip or make loud drops down through the levels. Not a peep. So I make the 3m dash to the door and both charge in maybe a metre behind me and unload Bobcats. I swear there was nothing but silence in the build up. Same was more true of the third, waited at the end of a long corridor, nothing, so I turn my back to move on and again Bobcats seemingly appear in the doorway behind me and I’m gone.

Is this new anyone? Losing too many kits fast..
