Why is it only when it's night time that loneliness starts eating you up?
The days are loud enough to drown it out. Work, distractions, scrolling, noise. But the second the world goes quiet and the lights go down… there it is. That heavy, gnawing feeling like something is slowly hollowing you out from the inside.
It’s not even sadness exactly. It’s the absence. The way your mind starts replaying every moment you felt truly seen… and how rare those moments have become.
Anyone else feel this? Especially at night when your thoughts get too loud and the bed feels too empty?
I’d love to hear how you deal with your own monster. Or what makes the nights feel a little less heavy.
