ubuntu for the win
What does ubuntu/gnome do differemt that makes gaming smoother. Not all games specifically Marvel Rivals and Dead by daylight
This two games experience alot of frame drops on kde, or even other os like fedora.
But for ubuntu, it works our of the box, 200 fps... remind you i did setup all the necesary libraries and nvidia stuff in other os and desltop envs.
I noticed mainly it is due to ubuntu/gnome profiles, using the performance profile makes the games smooth... but then other desktops also have power profiles but still makes the games laggy interms of fps... so i kinda want to rule power profiles out
Tbh the only reason i was stuck on windows was due to this games. Now that ubuntu hamdles them well... i have not missed windows since december last year.
I heard all the hate on ubuntu on bloat like snap, but it does not feel bloated at all. And yes i use flatpaks... but ubuntu for the win
