AITA for not letting my friend bring her boyfriend to my birthday dinner?

I planned a small birthday dinner with eight close friends at a restaurant. I booked the table weeks in advance and chose a place with limited seating.

The day before the dinner, my friend asked if she could bring her new boyfriend. I said I was hoping to keep it just the people I invited because the table was already arranged.

She said I was being rude and that couples should be invited together.

I told her I had nothing against him, but I wanted to spend my birthday with my friends and didn't want to change the plan last minute.

Now she says she might not come because she feels like I don't respect her relationship.
