Bully's ending was trash and I genuinely have no idea why it's praised (Bully)
Most of the game was mid and the writomg was never its strong point but that final chapter was so terrible I had to rant about it. Why is bullworth so stupid? The chapter starts with everyone loving jimmy then jimmy suddenly gets blamed for multiple things that arent his fault and called a bad leader for it happening, even when there's clear evidence that the townies did it.
Now most people say its because the factions never liked jimmy and were looking for an excuse to kick him out. Except thats obviously stupid considering they never had to listen to him to behin with. Only the preppies and the jocks made sense, the rest didnt. The nerds were getting beaten up everyday so jimmy had to convince them they were friends. If they didnt like jimmy, no one was forcing them to stay. They stand to lose the most by abandoning jimmy considering everyone hates them too. The greasers only stayed because johnny was fine. Except even after jimmy saved johnny, he still hates jimmy despite gettung saved and knowing full well jimmy isnt his enemy.
I have no idea why the jocks and preppies followed jimmy to begin with. They have no reason and if its out of fear, outcasting him doesnt change the fact he could still beat them up like before. But fine, lets pretend its fine, what were they thinking with that ending. The principal mustve been braindead for giving gary so much power. The whole ending felt rushed and like they just wanted it to end. All of a sudden, the principal hears what gary said and expelled him? Everyone was suddenly on jimmys side after he beat the crap out of them 5 minutes ago? The principal added some of his new townie friends just like that? This game sucked and this ending sucked.
