Cutting ties with friends

Salaam everyone.

I'm in so much pain as I want to cut ties with 2 of my best friends. I've known these girls since I was in school. We went out yesterday to get some food and have a girls dinner. It went really well and we finished at 8. After the dinner I invited them over to my home for dessert and somewhere we can relax. It's been really hot here recently and I thought it was a good idea for us to have a private place to relax. I ended up getting into an argument with them 2. The others tried to stop it but I'm hurt. Why would you say that? They've been calling non stop saying sorry. I don't know. Part of me does get their point of view but still. Maybe it's a sign.
