Cultivation System: Elder Edition

Such a good find from the weekly top! the MC Elder Lu is a really fun protagonist to follow around, and this novel has made me legitimately laugh out loud a few times. The exaggerated humor sometimes bordering on slapstick is really fun.

As for the story itself, I like how much he struggles to change and accept certain aspects of this new world, wondering if he will eventually be molded by the world or remain strong enough and maybe even mold the world in his own image.

Its super lighthearted, but also can be quite serious at times and the contrast amplifies the effect for sure!

And lastly, Elder Lu is also just a good person.
I like the slightly demented and psychopathic mcs like Nathaniel Gwyn and Jake thayne for sure, but seeing an MC like Elder Lu is really heartwarming.
