Please guide

I’m 22 years old, and I completed my B.Tech one month ago.
I hated tech, but because of my parents’ pressure, I ended up pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science from a tier-3 college (Amity).
My math and English are good because I was preparing for campus placements. I got selected by a good company in Bangalore with a package of ₹5 LPA.
During the last month of my final semester, I came to know about government exams. I felt that if I dedicated 1–2 years to preparing seriously, I could clear one of them.
Do you think it’s worth it? Should I prepare for government exams or not? What criteria should I use to evaluate whether this is the right path for me?
