Dear Poké-trainers, could you help me out?

I haven't been in the community for long, and I don't really understand the mechanics yet, but is there a hidden 'evasion' stat in the game?
The thing is, there were times when my Pokémon evaded attacks that had a 100% accuracy rate. They didn't have any hidden abilities that boost evasion, held items, or weather conditions active—they just evaded. And the game explicitly said 'evaded' rather than the enemy 'missed'.
