why most brands sound exactly the same online
scroll through linkedin or instagram for a few minutes and something becomes obvious very quickly.
different companies, but same tone, same messaging, same ideas
“we’re passionate”, “customer-focused”, “innovative solutions”
from an agency perspective, this usually happens because brands are trying too hard to sound professional instead of recognizable. the result is content that feels safe but forgettable.
the interesting part is that audiences rarely remember the most polished brand. they remember the one that feels distinct. sometimes clarity beats sophistication. sometimes personality beats perfection.
curious how others see this: are brands becoming too optimized to stand out anymore?
