Just started my first small business

I launched my first small business about a month ago. It is an online store that sells custom printed apparel and simple accessories.

I built the entire website myself using Shopify. I spent a couple of weeks watching tutorials and testing different themes until I got the product pages, checkout process, and overall look set up the way I wanted.

Since this is my first business I am doing everything on my own. That includes taking product photos, writing descriptions, handling orders, answering customer emails, and keeping track of basic finances.

Right now most of my time goes into getting the site in front of people and making the first sales. I have been posting on social media and trying to improve how the site shows up in searches.

What was the hardest part for you when you started your first business? How did you get your first customers without spending a lot of money?
