French doors and privacy, how do people handle this without losing the light benefit

Love the idea of French doors for our backyard but the privacy side gives me pause. we back onto a fairly busy pedestrian area and full glass doors facing that direction would feel exposed

wondering what approaches actually work for maintaining some privacy without defeating the purpose of glass doors. frosted glass, curtains, blinds between the glass panes, privacy film. not sure which options are available on the door itself versus added after installation

how have people handled privacy with French doors without just drawing the curtains all the time
