Sunlight streamed into Hannah's second story office window for the first time since she had moved onto this quiet street. She sighed as she took a sip from the warm coffee cup and looked up out of the window, tearing her attention away from the never-ending stream of emails and meetings that she had to look forwards to.

Ugh.

At least she had the morning light, the golden rays of sunlight filling the room, a room that was previously shaded by a tall majestic oak tree that had unfortunately fallen during a storm that seemed straight out of hell. Now, rather than staring into lush greenery from her home office, she was treated to a view of the neighboring house. More specifically, the backyard, private pool area, and even the master bedroom window. 

Her husband had made a joke about it, voueyerism, or something along those lines. She had laughed it away, but the thought had given her chills. The couple next door was similar to them, and she had hit it off almost immediately with the man, Jake.

The two of them were friendly, almost flirty at times, but they never crossed any lines that suburban neighbors shouldn't cross. But there definitely was a spark. Stealing glances, small smiles. It almost felt as if there was an ancient animal awareness between them, some sort of chemistry that Hannah hadn't felt in forever.

Hannah sighed, taking a sip from her coffee as she caught him at the edge of the window, waving at her. With a small smile, she waved back.

Hey, I'm Isha and today I'm looking for more of a slower, cheating based story. I think it could be fun to write out how the tension between the two characters would grow, before finally snapping. As a heads up, I do write on discord and google docs (although docs is not a must), and I usually write around novella length responses and would love the same.
