Lore-accurate?

Recently I bought the combat patrol and I’m a HUGE fanatic when it comes to lore accuracy/canon designs. I’m working on the chosen atp and I’m curious if it would “technically” be correct for them to have kind of chaos like pauldrons? Like the eye of terror symbol, daemon skulls and such? Also wondering if they’d stand out too much cuz all the other dudes I’ve made from the box so far have just plain, flat/round right pauldrons
