33f - elusive extrovert searching for vibes + friendship, offering short-term chats to start with

I'm an American expat living overseas in the middle of nowhere, I'd love to chat with others from North America (I miss y'all 🥹). I'd also love it if I could find other married friends with kids, because that's a huge part of my life. I'm religious (Eastern Orthodox) but I don't expect you to be but I definitely enjoy sharing a mutual faith in God, my personality type is ENFP 4W5 (and I very much identify with it!), and I love banter, deep talks, authenticity and just vibing. My biggest turn off is heavy flirting, so don't do that pls.

I've been here for years posting and chatting, looking for people I vibe with. It's not easy making friends online when your life is a bit chaotic (especially when your internet randomly keeps going out rofl) but here I am again. There's a small chance we've run across each other here if you're reading this, I always feel a little awkward posting while knowing that 😅.

Maintaining friendships online seems to be getting more difficult than it was 10 years ago, I'm not sure why exactly, maybe we have less time and emotional energy as we get older, and sometimes life genuinely gets too hectic to keep up with much else, which is completely understandable.

As for me, I'm moving into a new season in life, I have a few awesome friends and I'd like to try for a chance to make one or two more. I need someone who can be patient with response times, some days I'll be free to chat throughout the day, and there might be other times I won't be online for 2 or 3 days in a row (mostly because the internet here is unstable and ngl my life is unstable too 🫣).

My hobbies are music, writing, art, experimenting, herbalism, getting lost in the forest, baking, and other random things that happen to catch my interest. My aesthetic is probably fantasy/cottage core, my top 5 favorite tv shows are DS9, SG1, Psych, Smallville, and Gilmore Girls, and I deeply love Celtic/ethereal/folk music.

Anyway if you'd like to see if we click I'm totally down for that (and no hard feelings if we don't!).
