*Somewhere in the Realm of Possibilities;*

A certain entity carefully sipped tea while overlooking a certain planet.

Among the masses, this entity gave the impression of being elusive, distant, and mercurial.

Despite that however, there was no denying "His" status.

Hidden Mentor. Keeper of Secrets. Master of Mysticism. Spider.

These were just the few among the numerous titles that were attached to Him.

Nevertheless, to those aware of the deeper mysteries;

His true identity was that of a Deity known as the Hermit Sage.

\*Twinkle\*

From the corner of Sage's eye, something unexpected drew His attention.

Gradually, He focused His considerable vision into the great beyond until He could finally ascertain what caught His eye.

The very moment He manage to determine its precise location, He proceeded to invoke one of His divine authorities.

"『**Mystery Prying**』

"Hmm. It is certainly a very interesting dimension. Basement was it?"

\*Sips tea

Time passed by.

The more the Sage pried into the events that transpired within that dimension, the stronger His intrigue grew.

Until...

"『**Copy**』"

The Hermit Sage moved to fabricate a Copy of Himself, albeit mortal with Revised life history.

Furthermore, the mortal Copy He made of Himself was empty of His experiences, of His knowledge, and of His skills.

Although the potential...

The potential however was there.

Having checked that there were no issues with the Copy, the Hermit Sage then utilized His mastery over Mysticism to insert it into the target Dimension.

\*Whoosh\*

Once that's done, the Hermit returned to His previous Seat and sipped His favored tea.

"May you live in interesting times," were the parting words the Sage gave to the Copied mortal.

The mortal made in the very image of God.

OOC:

The subject featured in this little sidebar is my character from the Lord of Mysteries sub who is an acknowledged Deity there.

I just wrote him here in order to provide background and context for the origin of my OC.

Other than viewing the events in the Basement like a creepy voyeur, this Hermit Sage bloke will not interact with the lore of this Sub whatsoever.

It also makes sense canonically because as a Deity who personifies the title of "Hermit", His core instincts involve *seclusion* and *isolation*.

So yeah, this pitiful Deity here is an unemployed, unwanted, no-touching grass, creepy hermit NEET.

Praise the God of NEETS.
