The doctrines of the Iglesia Ni Cristo change depending on what benefits the Executive Minister

One of the teachings that most converts like about INC is that they say the doctrines that was said to be from the Messenger of God never change. Wala daw silang dinadagdag at binabawasan. But is it reaaly true? Wala nga ba talagang dagdag bawas sa aral ng Iglesia? Here’s what I found out (thru this sub and ministers I know)

1. Christmas
Isa to sa mga main doctrine ng INC. Hindi daw sila nagcecelebrate ng pasko. My grandmother is one of the pioneer of a local. So you can say na our family’s been with INC for 3 generations. She always told me how they use to celebrate Christmas before with the ministers. I dont really believe her and thought maybe she’s just confuse because of her age. 2. Pasalamat/Anniversary Thanksgiving
Hindi daw sila nagdadagdag ng doktrina pero pwedeng magdagdag ng pasalamat? Wala namang pasalamat kapag anibersayo noon. I think it was during Eraño Manalo na dinagdagan nila ng anniversary thanksgiving. I dont have proof for this pero for those who know someone thats been in inc for generation, you can ask them if they have it before. My uncle, who was expelled ay laging yan ang sinasabi sa mga tita ko na OWE at hindi sila makasagot because its true. Dinagdagan nila ng pasalamat kasi gusto nilang kumita ng mas malaki.

3. Wearing of Jewelry
Ang pagbabago ng doktrina ay hindi lang panahon ni Eraño at Eduardo. This has been happening even in time of Felix Manalo. Isa sa mga doktrina noon ay ang pagbabawal sa pagsusuot ng alahas. However, nung “yumaman” na daw ang Iglesia, pwede na pala. 4.IVF or other Assisted Reproductive Technology
This one is a few years ago lang. This has never been part of the doctrine. Ang dami ngang mga anak ng ministro ang bunga ng IVF eh. I dont know why all of a sudden, pinagbawal to ni EVM?

5.Politics
Ofcourse the latest one. Dati bawal tumakbo ang kahit sinong INC sa pulitika. Yun pala may exception. Kapag binasbasan ka ni EVM biglang pwede na?

Ito lang sa ngayon ang naaalala ko. But if you have more please share with us. I want to prove to INC how ridiculous their claim of being te only church na hindi daw nagdadagdag bawas ng doktrina but they’ve been doing it since the time of their so-called messenger.

2. Anniversary Thanksgiving

They claim they don’t add new doctrines, but apparently they can add another thanksgiving service? There used to be no thanksgiving service for church anniversaries. I believe it was during the administration of Eraño Manalo that they introduced the Anniversary Thanksgiving. I don’t have proof of this, but if you know someone whose family has been in the INC for generations, you can ask them whether this existed before. My uncle, who was expelled from the Church, would always bring this up whenever he spoke with my aunts who are OWE (One With EVM), and they couldn’t answer him because it was true. They added another thanksgiving service because they wanted to increase the amount of offerings they collected.

3. Wearing Jewelry

Changes in doctrine didn’t just happen during the administrations of Eraño and Eduardo. They were already happening during the time of Felix Manalo. One of the Church’s teachings back then prohibited members from wearing jewelry. However, according to former ministers, once the Church became wealthier, wearing jewelry suddenly became acceptable.

4. IVF and Other Assisted Reproductive Technologies

This happened only a few years ago. This was never part of the original doctrine. In fact, many ministers’ children were reportedly conceived through IVF. I don’t understand why Eduardo V. Manalo suddenly decided to prohibit it.

5. Politics

Of course, there’s the most recent example. In the past, no INC member was allowed to run for political office. Apparently, though, there are exceptions. If Eduardo V. Manalo gives you his blessing, then suddenly it’s allowed?

That’s all I can think of for now. If you know of any other examples, please share them. I want to demonstrate that INC’s claim of being the only church that never adds to or subtracts from its doctrines is difficult to reconcile with these examples. Based on these accounts, changes appear to have been made since the time of their so-called Messenger.
