What’s a UGC “rule” you stopped following?

When I first started learning UGC, I saw so many people say things like “you need a niche,” “you need expensive equipment,” “you need a big portfolio,” etc. Whaat advice everyone followed at first but later realized wasn’t actually necessary? Mine was thinking every video needed to look super polished.
