Want to gift BF jewellery

Bf’s birthday is coming up soon. I saw this ad of a silver chain worn by Aditya Roy Kapoor that looks really goooood, so I am planning to get it for my BF. But one problem is he doesn’t wear any jewellery so I am wondering if it will be uncomfortable for him. He works out and plays sports regularly.
