Idea for a sequel to Rogue One/Andor

Do you think it would be interesting to explore the time period between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back? The Death Star has been blown up, which is the greatest defeat that the Rebel Alliance inflicted against the Empire since the start of the civil war, but with the dissolution of the senate, ending hopes of reforming the Empire back into a Republic, the loss of their Yavin Base, and Darth Vader assuming command over the Imperial military, mounting a devastating counter-offensive, the Rebel Alliance begins to enter dark times. Luke Skywalker also becomes a commander within the Rebel Alliance, leading Rogue Squadron, and starts the construction of Echo Base on Hoth.

You wouldn't have to make Luke and Vader the focus, maybe instead centring around the lesser known pilots within Luke's Rogue Squadron, and Imperial officers within Vader's fleet, similar to how Rogue One and Andor didn't centre around around any of the famous larger than life personalities from the movies, but I still think it would be an interesting story to tell. Just the mixed emotions of the Alliance facing total warfare with the Empire that they weren't prepared for, soon after scoring their biggest victory against them
