The fact is, the game has gotten much worse with this update+

Simple farming is no longer possible. The new systems they’ve introduced seem increasingly designed to push the game toward a "pay-to-win" model. I can no longer clear stages that I used to breeze through with ease. The event is impossible, too—you can only farm 120 crystals, making it impossible to reach the 400 needed for the Mushroom Shield. I feel like my progress has really been set back; I was on the final map and about to finish it, but this update has left me severely underpowered. I might stop playing for a good while until they fix this.
