Master's in Physics (Condensed Matter) at Trento — opinions from current/former students?
Hi everyone,
I'm considering enrolling in the Master's degree in Physics and I'd like to gather some opinions from people who have attended it or are currently attending. My main area of interest would be Condensed Matter Physics (Fisica della Materia).
In particular, I'd like to know:
- How is the quality of teaching and the availability of professors?
- Is it easy/difficult to access labs or research groups for the thesis (FBK, groups within the university, etc.)?
- What's student life like in Trento and the surrounding area? (I already know there isn't much nightlife)
- What are the post-graduation opportunities like (PhD, industry, other)? Since it's a relatively small university, how is it viewed at the EU level compared to others (e.g. UniBo)?
Any experience, positive or negative, is helpful for me to get a fuller picture. Thank you so much in advance to anyone willing to answer!
