Giving my kitten a bath

For starters, she is a stray that's been living around my house, her mom doesn't take care of her much so I've decided to give her a bath (she's 2 months old). But I have a doubt whether I can use regular soap instead of the ones for cats. But I've heard that its not good for them since they clean their fur and stuff. Is there any alternative that I could use? Or should I bathe her with just water? I've heard abt using diluted unscented baby shampoo but I'm not sure.

Ps. Im still a student and so I'm doing this without my parents knowing cuz they don't like strays smh 🙏🏻
