Are there any bras with more flat underwires that aren't wide?
(~34F uk, I don't have measurements to provide atm)
Hello,
I posted here before but I still always run into the problem of underwires sitting too low below the root, even when every single other sign of a good fit seems correct (band snug and straight, gore flat against sternum, not spillage or significant gaping (I don't have a lot of tissue on top so I go for balconettes, and straps staying in place).
But the wires typically sit WAY too low, and leave a mark.
I think I might also have a lot of immediate projection.
The closest I've gotten was an unpadded Ewa Michalak balconette (not sure which one) but then it sat on my diaphram, which made it worse, despite it being visually the best bra I have :( (it pushed my boobs to the center which is super important to me!).
I seem to have a root shape that is significant less round than what you see on narrow wire bra. The only ones I think Ive seen with more flat wires (like if you were to bend a banana in the opposite direction) are ones that extend way into the armpit and poke me (and also are too shallow).
I don't remember ever wearing a bra where the underwire sat on breast tissue so I am assuming I am on the narrower side.
- Are there any bras that are more flat yet narrow?
- Specifically balconettes that really push the boobs to the center?
- Do you think there might be additional fit issues that contribute to the wire sitting too low?
- if you know of any, do they also fit into a larger size range? (I might need up to 32GG in the future, which is when I'm thinner and on birth control. I have a lot of fluctuations).
Is this shape really that unusual?
