Moving to Portugal as a non-EU Automation QA Engineer

Hi everyone!

I’m an Automation QA Engineer thinking about moving to Portugal, preferably Porto or Lisbon. I’m not an EU citizen, and after researching the local job market I realized that salaries are much lower than in many other European countries.

I’d love to hear from people who have successfully relocated. Did you find a local job or work remotely for a foreign company? If it’s the latter, how did you legalize your stay, and where did you find your remote job?
