what is love. how do you even know youre in love.

im trynna understand what love actually is because the "love" my parents gave me is something I never want to experience from another human being and people talk about being in love as the best thing ever but what even is it. how do you know whether its lust or love ?

can you love and lust after someone ?

surely you cant have one without the other (you can becuase you can lust after someone and not love them)
