New Onboarding in Patch 0.4.6.0 - FAQ

Hello,

We’d like to address some of the questions we’ve recently received from players regarding the new onboarding experience introduced in Patch 0.4.6.0.

The game now begins with a scenic helicopter ride, followed by a tutorial with several introductory tasks. Until you complete the full onboarding experience, you will respawn in the helicopter with your starting gear whenever you die or log out. The tutorial is complete once a pop-up appears confirming its completion.

The following tasks must be completed as part of the tutorial:

• First Recon
• A Walk in the Park
• Little Bird Down
• Secret Compassion
• Rat’s Nest

Note: The new onboarding is available only on completely fresh accounts. It will not appear on existing accounts, even after wiping your current character.
