Spoiler: What I know about Holly's update (0.8) so far

I have been following the discord channel closely and went over the weekly reports that were posted in this subreddit. This is what I can tell from those sources:

Holly's update

• Will be the second largest update yet (behind Gomira)

• The story will take place on the Old Capital map (farming area) with Holly's house featuring a lot and contains many rooms

• There will be plenty of sex scenes with Holly featuring: assjob, handjob, oral sex, footjob (optional), 4x vaginal. A lot of those sex scenes will feature at the end of the update, after the stories climax.

• The end of 0.3 (Holly update 1) is entirely changed. The conclusion of Dear Celestina is reworked and she will incidentally receive a new name, possibly hinting to a different plot.

• There will be new characters: the melon farming twins, granny and more

• Various existing characters will play a brief part with Rose being one of them

• There will be think and craft quests as well of plenty of free roaming

• The second half of the update will be more interesting in terms of story after a slow start

Funny quotes from early 2025

• "We're determined to finish 0.8 in 2025, so I plan to set a maximum word limit of 35,000 words for myself."
• "I'm overall happy with the writing and believe that except for one or two elements from the earlier parts, I won't have to make many changes later when I'm in the debug phase."

Recently I have heard that Holly's update has gone over 50.000 words, which is much larger than the devs had anticipated. Even though the update has been longer than we would have hoped I'm sure that the amount of added content and polish changes are worth it.

Gomira's polish phase took 8 months, but was way more problematic than this update. With Holly's polish phase being 2.5 months underway we could probably expect the update to come out somewhere this summer. Hopefully somewhere in August, but knowing the Nuts it could be later as well :)
