Planning a Volunteer Trip to South Africa

Hi everyone!
I’m considering traveling to South Africa later this year to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation organization that cares for injured wild animals. I’m planning to stay for about two months and would really appreciate any tips or advice from people who have done something similar.
If anyone from the EU is interested in joining me, I’d also love to find a travel companion!
