Am I Wrong for Going to Work Sick and Now my Boss is in the Hospital?

Hi, am I wrong for going to work sick when my boss is immunocompromised? My boss has been in an out of the hospital for the last few months after a heart attack. He is going through organ failure of his lungs and kidneys atm and has had multiple surgeries as a result. He is now Immunocompromised. I had a cold for a few days and went into work. He caught it and is now sick in the hospital and I feel so guilty.

My job has no work from home policy or sick leave, so If i took off while I was sick I would either not get paid or have to use PTO (He doesn't decide this policy and overall has the best boss I have ever had). Before I went in I thought about this possibility so I almost took PTO but I get 13 days a year and didn't want to waste them on a minor cold. I have already used 8 this year 6 on a road trip and 2 when I was sick previously so I have 5 left for the year. I let him know I had a minor cold before I came in and he said it was ok. I only had a stuffed nose and minor headache. Since I wasn't coughing or sneezing I didn't wear a mask, I realize now that I should have. He also didn't wear a mask but I live in the south. I also tried to avoid him at work but we are a team of three so we work together a lot so that wasn't really possible.

I don't know for sure that I got him sick but he is in the hospital now because he got sick. I came in sick last week, so I think with the timing It was probably me.

What do you guys think, Am I Wrong?
