Codeine As A Kratom Quitting Buffer

Hi subs; I’m trying to quit kratom and curious to know if codeine (or any medium strength opiate) can work to wean off kratom and keep withdrawal symptoms at bay.

I know it prob sounds counterintuitive, but honestly as someone who has used opiates for 20 years, va kratom for a few months, I feel much more comfortable weaning off codeine than I do kratom!

Anyway, just curious to know if codeine can pad ouf early withdrawal symptoms (as an opiate receptor activator) or if kratom’s multi-receptor activities (serotonin, gaba, etc) make it a bit more complex than just subbing in an opiate.

Anyway first hand experience or info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
