Why am i not growing?

I’ve been making beauty TikToks since 2024 and have had a few viral videos, some reaching 1–2 million views. Despite that, I’m still only at around 4k followers. My regular videos usually get fewer than 1,000 views, so it feels like the viral ones never really translated into consistent growth.
The thing is, I don’t feel burned out because I genuinely enjoy making this kind of content. Recently, though, I posted a mini vlog that performed pretty well, and it’s made me think about mixing things up. Beauty/makeup content feels a bit like a dead end sometimes, while lifestyle content seems a lot more flexible and gives me more room to experiment.
I guess I’m starting to wonder if I’m just… not that likeable on camera, or if I’m missing something strategically.
Has anyone else experienced this? If you were stuck for a while and eventually grew, what changed for you? I’d really appreciate any advice.
