Snarky Summary

MS begins by wishing everyone a Happy Friday! She then picks up her mug of brown liquid and says "I'll drink to that!". Then she launches into her introductory spiel, saying she is a "full-time social media influencer and blogger. Amazon is kind of my jam. I do a lot of linking of Amazon products and a lot of demonstrations of amazon products on my Instagram, @ MS." Yoda then hops on the counter and blocks the frame, and she keeps saying "hey, hey" in an annoyed voice, then picks him up. He begrudgingly sits in her lap for a minute while she continues her spiel about what her "job" entails. She then puts Yoda down. Today we are going over her kitchen finds that she "has or is thinking about using", and she couldn't link all of them because amazon only lets you do 40 at a time. Tragic. She basically begs anyone who is just "hopping on" to comment about random things like where they're from for engagement. The first "find" is her Nespresso Virtuo which she purchased for a cool $230. But now it's cheaper on amazon. And it's somehow so much better than her old Keurig. Probably because it makes her "feel wealthy" or something. She then gives a pointless demonstration of how to insert a pod into her Nespresso machine and links a $33 pack of pods that is a mix of three flavors. She proceeds to make a cup of coffee in a clear plastic mug that says "creative juice" in shiny gold lettering. She keeps describing the coffee as "thick and frothy", and then explains she linked a milk frother she doesn't own because she has a more expensive Nespresso milk frother. MS then demonstrates with her handheld milk frother how to use it in your coffee. She says people also say you can use a milk frother to make scrambled eggs, and that milk frothers also make a "great gift". That's it for her "coffee finds"!

Now she moves on to the bag resealers she has shilled multiple times before, describing them as "really popular" with her Instagram audience. She then demonstrates the bag sealer on an open bag of crackers, but first explains some of the bag resealers' features. MS thinks it is the worst when you put back an opened bag in the box and then your stuff gets stale! This product is is "genius" and "so cool". Personally, I think chip clips do the job just fine but that's just me. Next up is a $24 bamboo drawer organizer meant for cutlery and other utensils. She keeps mentioning how every product is great "especially when you have little ones". For example, you can keep the "adult" silverware and "baby" silverware separated with this drawer organizer.

Now we change to MS' plans, and she and C are going to see the movie "Old" tonight. She and C are trying to be better at budgeting, and they decided to eat dinner at home tonight before the movie. MS is planning to make shrimp scampi, and this is the perfect segway into talking about her blog because she has this recipe posted on her blog! It's "super quick", and you can just follow her blog at "MSbossbabeblogger.com" and on there she has "tons" of recipes (By tons, she means like 10 recipes with vague instructions and accompanying stock photos). Oh, and you can sign up for her newsletter there too, which goes out "normally, weekly", and she admits she is not the best about it, but tries to get it done on time. She then demonstrates the $18 garlic chopper she has shilled in previous lives. She grabs it from offscreen, and in it, you can see she hasn't peeled the garlic cloves, but she just starts hitting the chopper. She then claims that she couldn't get all the skins off the cloves, but this device somehow "perfectly gets the skin off". But it seems her solution is to use the machine to just chop it into barely noticeable pieces. She keeps raving for a while about how great it is, and talks about how because she lives in an apartment, she usually looks for kitchen devices that are smaller to save space. Because she really needs a tiny appliance in her cramped 1700sqft apartment.

She links a pack of hand towels, which she doesn't own because she says she got her hand towels at Target. Also, apparently, everyone loves getting handtowels as a gift! Now we are taken on a little field trip to the fridge so that she can show these $35 fridge and freezer bins. She talks about them while weirdly touching various items in her fridge. I hate the way she touches things she is currently is talking about; it is so infuriating to watch. This $27 pack of reusable labeled spice jars was "really popular" on Instagram. Apparently, they make your spices look "nicer, upgraded, organized and chic". She of course is touching the spices too while talking. Ugh. Now we are going to the pantry where she talks about some wicker baskets. Then she shows some larger glass jars that are $43. She puts various baking supplies in them like sugar and flour. She touches the jars repeatedly. Next up is a set of $27 sealed plastic food containers. She touches various boxes while talking about how you can also label them and then talks about "weird filmy stuff" that sometimes will be on the lid? She installed a $20 set of floating shelves. She has one in the pantry where she keeps the cat's food and treats because they get fed in the pantry now. And heck, what if she had too much wine one night and mistook the cat's food for granola or something?! She's just thinking ahead. The other two shelves are in different rooms.

MS asks everyone watching to follow her because she is in a "contest" and she is trying to get her follower count up in order to win. Now she pulls out a big stack of $40 glass reusable containers. When she used to have plastic Tupperware, she'd have to throw them out whenever they got stained or would smell weird. She thinks that these new containers are microwave safe, but isn't sure. She then proceeds to demonstrate not only how to put the lid on the container, but also how to stack them! This is riveting content! They don't hold "smell" in them, like the "smell" of leftover food. Huh? Apparently, it's "time to throw away" all their kitchen utensils and tools and get some new ones! So she links a cheap multi-pack of like 15 utensils that she doesn't seem to own herself. She talks about how it would make a gift for Christmas or for newlyweds or housewarming gifts or college students. She lives in an apartment so they can't have their own grill, but she found this $70 portable grill that looks like a good alternative. MS is thinking about getting C one of these for Christmas, so hopefully he doesn't watch this and spoil the surprise! She thinks a grill would be "nice to have" and it looks like it has "pretty good" reviews! She shows a $24 over-the-sink metal dish drying rack that she has over her sink. Next up she shows a set of nesting bowls that she just thinks looks like a cool idea and she doesn't own them.

It may be early, but it is Friday, so now it's time to "talk wine"! First up is her favorite, the $30 electric wine opener, and yes it does make her feel wealthy. She tries to demonstrate the foil cutter with one hand, but can't so then she tries to set up her phone on the camera. She says she "did not plan this very well". She clumsily demonstrates the foil cutter on an unopened bottle of wine, then brings her phone over to the kitchen counter and grabs a wine glass. She repeats how it makes her feel wealthy. She then demonstrates how it works and jumps into a spiel about how this would make a great gift for almost anyone in your life! Next up is a longtime favorite of hers, these $20 wine drops that remove the "tannins and sulfates" and will cut back on "any allergies and the headaches you get after drinking wine". MS emphatically says they really do work. Next up is some wine bottle stoppers. They make good Christmas gifts. For anyone who doesn't follow her on social media already, she explains that she is a huge "Christmas junkie". Like, she swears she was "supposed to be an elf" when she was born, and she is sad that she wasn't. She loves Christmas and is always thinking ahead to "Christmas gifts" and "New Year presents" because that is her jam. She shills some of the holographic finish stemless wine glasses she has had for a while and it's $25 for 4. She shills a "wand purification" thing that somehow does the same thing as the wine drops? I have no idea about this contraption and I don't care to look into it.

Moving away from wine finds, MS has a $40 nonstick pan that she has "two or three of" and she raves about how great they are. She then links a $25 pot and pan organizer and shows it in her cupboard. She complains that "everyone is so quiet", and asks about their weekend plans, and says "it's Friday, the sun is shining, the tank is clean!" MS waited "so long" to get a KitchenAid mixer, then "finally" her boyfriend got her a red one for Christmas! She uses hers all the time! These go for around $260+. She then shows a $130 attachment that she bought for her mixer, which is a glass mixing bowl that has the measurements on the side and a lid that you can use. She does a "lot of baking" and in recipes where you're supposed to refrigerate the dough, this is helpful. It is a "great gift" and an "awesome wedding present". She uses hers so often, and originally she held off on buying it for a while, but now she is "so glad that she has one". Up now is an old favorite, which is a gift she got for C for Christmas. It is a $41 bamboo cutting board with basically plastic drawers underneath. It's nothing revolutionary. Now she shills an automatic soap dispenser she doesn't have but claims to plan to buy. Apparently, watermelons are really difficult for her to cut, so she usually buys hers pre-cut. But there's a watermelon cutter thing on Amazon she has linked. it is unclear if she owns it because she doesn't show it or talk about using it herself. Then she talks about a pasta strainer thing and a silicone utensil rest she doesn't have. Next up is an electric potato peeler she doesn't seem to own. Next up is a rice cooker. With this baby, all you need to do is follow the "instructions on the back of the rice packet", and then boom! Your rice is perfect every time. Finally, we have a $30 electric meat thermometer that she got for C, but she doesn't show it she just talks about it briefly.

MS is always looking for new kitchen finds. Her next video will probably be about "laundry room finds" even though she technically doesn't even have a laundry room. She "loves to be organized". While talking about this, she is walking in and out of frame in her kitchen and putting things like the rice cooker back in the cabinets. She asks various questions of the viewers to try to drum up engagement. She asks everyone to follow her again, and plugs her on various social media like Instagram, like to know it, you guys know the deal. She asks anyone to message her with their "great laundry room finds. Everyone watching was "so quiet" today, but she hopes they all have a great weekend!
