Hi everyone,

I reached Production Science a few weeks ago but completely forgot to post an update, so here it is!

A quick recap:

* This is my first modded playthrough after finishing vanilla. I've been at it for just over a year now.
* I’m running full-suite normal Py with a strict no-voiding rule from the start. (Left spoilage off though, which was definitely a mistake in hindsight.)
* I've adopted 4x4 chunk rail blocks with Project Cybersyn. I went pretty hard on the "every item/fluid gets its own dedicated block if used in more than one recipe" philosophy… which has resulted in a massive factory – over 6km wide. Probably larger than most at this stage.
* I still haven’t built a proper automall (might try one soon), so I’m still relying on the classic robo-mall – the big blue square near the center.
* Train network is the usual two-channel setup (main production + overflow/recycling). I also built a train auto-scaling system that dynamically adjusts station buffer sizes and request thresholds based on current train tier via radars. Pretty happy with how that turned out (see pic).

Some high level stats:

* 760 different items and fluids advertised to the train network
* Total items made: 24.1 billion (increasing by \~15k/sec)
* Total creatures slaughtered: 91 million
* Number of trains: 325 (all MK3)
* Number of stations: 3,380
* SPM: no clue, but comfortably outpacing my ability to implement new tech

Power comes from eight MK3 high-pressure steam turbines fed by a gigaplex of MK3 oil power plants - total 860GW capacity. External inputs are minimal: 4.6/s copper ore, 133/s tailings, 2/s rennea, and 0.025/s chlorinated water. It’s basically self-sufficient, and I’m hoping this carries me all the way to MHD. The factory typically draws 300-500GW. I’m using 5:X diet beacons pretty much everywhere, which probably wasn’t the smartest choice.

My old Ryzen 3950X was dying with UPS in the low 40s during Py3. I upgraded to a 9800X3D and I’m now happily sitting at 60 UPS with \~6ms headroom per tick.

The factory is running very smoothly with almost no shortages (except for special small parts, which seem to be required in near-infinite quantities). I’ve been spending the last few weeks implementing AL upgrades, T2 productivity modules everywhere and the improved recipes unlocked at this tier.

In another week or two I should be ready for the next big push. I hope to make it to Py3 by the end of summer.

Production Science!
