Non Slip Shoe Recommendation

Yesterday, I had a picnic in Oak Creek, in the Red Rock State. I wore a decent pair of shoes, but unfortunately, I slipped and hit my hip. Since then, the pain has been quite severe.

I’m curious to know what you (locals) wear, especially for slippery creeks like this one or the Slide Rock?
