Why does everyone complain about all the X-Men being added when most are characters that should've been in simce launch?

I feel like I'm complaining that we're still missing key X-Men members like Nightcrawler, Colossus, Iceman etc; yet all I see is people giving mutant hate like half of these characters aren't characters we should've had since launch. X-Men went through hell with the Fox deal, and we didn't get any good mutant shit for years, to the point where they tried to replace them with the Inhumans💀

I understand the perspective of wanting more villains, I personally cannot fathom why Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Carnage etc are not in the game yet; however this game is still young, and with 1 character dropping every month there's only so much that can drop at once. That being said I see this being a Mutant phase for the game, with a lot of Villain characters and events probably dropping throughout 2027 and 2028.

How do yall feel about a heavy villain phase after we get more of the main mutants out of the way?
