Just got my dress back from alterations, it's maggie sottero (5sb628) in the champagne color. I don't really have any better pictures of it right now, the first photo is my initial try on, but I can get some better ones if it would help. Didn't have a picture of the back, so I found the ad online.

My conundrum, I wanted to wear a veil with it (mainly because the low back worries me a little), but after trying a few in store, they all immediately get caught on the detailing of the dress. The ceremony is going to be outside, so wind makes it even less controllable. Are there any veil materials that would be less catchy? Or any other ideas to make this less of a problem?

I like the idea of a veil, but I don't have my heart set on it or anything. The color also makes it difficult to match. I was planning to go with a somewhat simple half up hairstyle with the veil, but I may want something more detailed if I don't have a veil. Any ideas on that would be great!

I'd also appreciate any ideas on possible accessories or anything else!

Edit: thank you everyone for the ideas! Opinions seem pretty split between veil or no veil, which is fine with me. A common idea seems to be to just do a veil for the ceremony and not for the reception. Or to do a super short veil to avoid the issue. I appreciate all the responses and any more to come!

Veil or no veil, having issues...
