Hey everyone — solo dev here. I run a Palworld server for friends and got sick of SSHing in, editing `PalWorldSettings.ini` by hand, and praying I didn't typo a multiplier. So I built **palserver GUI**: a web dashboard that turns the whole thing into buttons.

You run one portable executable (no install, all dependencies bundled), open `localhost:8250` in any browser, and manage everything from there — including from your phone.

**What it does:**

- **One-click server** — create, start/stop/restart, auto-download of server files. Run multiple independent instances on one machine.
- **80+ world settings in a real UI** — difficulty, XP/drop rates, breeding, PvP, damage multipliers. All type-validated, no more corrupting your config with a stray comma. Plus an Engine.ini tuning panel (tick rate, netspeed, GC) for the tinkerers.
- **Built-in interactive maps** — Palpagos, Sakurajima *and* Feybreak, with live player positions, alpha pal & landmark layers. Click the map to grab coordinates for teleport/spawn commands. No external map sites needed.
- **Player management** — online list with level/ping/coords, plus kick/ban/whitelist that works on *offline* players too. Historical roster with playtime.
- **RCON console** with searchable commands and dropdowns for player/item/creature IDs.
- **Backups & auto-restart** — scheduled backups with retention, one-click restore, and crash/memory-threshold auto-recovery with a pre-restart warning broadcast.
- **Anti-cheat & mods** — one-click PalDefender install/update to harden your server against cheaters and exploits, plus its command integration; UE4SS setup, Lua toggles, and pak management.
- **Admin actions from the dashboard** — hand out items in bulk, edit pal stats (HP / attack / defense / catch rate), teleport players, and spawn creatures — no memorizing RCON syntax. (These specific ones are sponsor early-access right now and open up to everyone afterwards; everything above is free.)
- **SteamID privacy** — every ID is masked by default across the roster, logs, and menus, with click-to-reveal.

**On remote access** (the part I care most about getting right): the browser *never* talks to the game directly. A local agent handles all RCON/REST/credentials. Local access is auth-free; anything remote needs a bearer token or a human-readable `XXXX-XXXX` pairing code. I recommend Tailscale or a reverse proxy for exposing it — no port-forwarding your game server to the open internet.

**Runs on:** Windows & Linux (portable binaries), Docker, and Kubernetes.

It's **completely free and open source** (PolyForm Noncommercial — free for personal use). No account, no telemetry lock-in. The handful of sponsor early-access perks mentioned above later become free for everyone — every core feature is free forever.

Happy to answer anything, and feature requests / bug reports very welcome. Cheers!

I got tired of managing my Palworld server through the command line, so I built a free, open-source web GUI for it
