Separated Dad looking for GIFT ideas for child's mom - she'd call herself an LA Hot Girlie I think LOL
Hey everyone, I know this isn't the typical post and I'd appreciate it if it wasn't downvoted. But I just wanted to find a place here to ask for recs for what to get my kiddos mom now that we're separated. NOT a chance to try to get back together (she already gave me too many of those and I fumbled them all) but we both live in the same part of LA, she's literally the best mom ever to our kid, and we still hang out and coparent etc. I've been feeling an immense amount of shame and guilt for how I treated and hurt her in the past, and optimistic about our coexistence together now (yes we still do couples/parenting therapy even after our split in 2021. It's taken a lot of growth for me, and patience and acceptance for her, to even let me back into her life (she's always let me be a part of our kiddos life). Anyway I feel I'm rambling so let's get down to business. She is a 31 year old mom of 1 that works a full time job in the corporate setting. She LOVES her girlfriends. She loves them. She likes music/concerts, DEDCOOL (I think it's called), has lots of anthro, nordstrom, etc vibes. Loves Free People. Also loves our kid and does everything with them. She loves LA brands, exploring the city (mostly westside/south bay), her friends and pilates/Erewhon, and more.
I'm here because I know brands, see things in her house she obviously likes, but also she's a badass and has an amazing job and can afford anything she wants on her own (GO HER, seriously!). So I want an appreciation gift, or maybe just like an "i see you and how you're doing and I'm so proud gift" that doesn't scream desperation or that I want to sleep with her or anything disrespectful to her and I's growth in our separation.
I'm 32 and have not the largest budget either. Idk if this is enough info or not and idk if this is even the right sub to come to so I'm so sorry if I was wrong and the post is removed. But I just want to show her she's 1) a good mom, but even better, a good person. If this is what this sub can help me with and you need more info, let me know as I am happy to become a little brain trust to show her how great and appreciated she is. Thank you in advance for reading and your time.
