Are Wild Tales story based on reality in Argentina?

I saw the movie sometime ago. It talks about corruption, bureaucracy, revenge. Does the film based on the reality of Argentina? Is Argentina that corrupt? Since I don’t know much about Argentina, it would be great to know what film referenced in real life. Look forward to your comments below!
