help me with the update

guys I'm currently at the chapter 5 and just reached Kakori village and just heard about the new update coming first i thought its some kind of bug fix or adding one new thing type update as i recently found out about this game but when i saw the trailer then i realized that its something big. so now I'm confused as i have already reached a good enough point that i don't want to restart now and lose all my progress mid run. so kindly answer these question.

1. is rejuvination now finished as i read a coment about act 2 and plan to have act 3.

2. do i have to restart or i can continue from where i am without loosing any new update feature and addon

3. what is this update about and how these updates work

i'm just trying to understand the thing as im loving every thing about this game like you all and dont want to miss anything
