What's one piece of financial advice you received during your divorce that turned out to be wrong (or just didn't fit your situation)?
Friends, family, and even the internet can have a lot of opinions about money during divorce.
Maybe someone told you:
- "You have to sell the house."
- "You should empty the joint account."
- "You'll never qualify for a mortgage."
- "You don't need to worry about retirement accounts."
Every divorce is different, and advice that works for one person may not work for another.
