Theoretically, could this Hanzo rework be worth it? (Not official)

News & Discussion

I used to play a lot of Hanzo before, but compared to other heroes in the roster, I feel like he just got boring to play with after a while. Unless you are constantly dinking heads, he just doesn't feel like he has much to his kit to make him dynamic or interesting in the long run. Emphasis on that he "feels" uninteresting, not that he is a bad hero.

So I thought.... in theory, if they gave Hanzo the ability to swap and cycle from different arrow types, like say, fire arrow, pushing/explosive arrow, or even the ice arrow he already has but as base kit, would that make him more fun?

I think that a simple way to implement this without it getting too out of hand would be to attach the damage type only to his abilities, not his base arrows. So base arrow work as normal, but the ability ones are the ones that get the effects.

Maybe even make these alternate arrow types do a bit less damage so that when equipped, they dont kill 250 enemies with a single headshot? I dunno

I thought about this because even though he's fine right now, I really think his game style could be changed to make him a bit more interesting. Also, even as someone who enjoys him, his arrow hit box just incentives a boring play style
