Power spread teams play call not varied enough

For context I am doing Purdue rebuild with mad scientist AI on Heisman.I have gone through the season 11-1 and it been tough i play every game but my easiest games have been against teams like notre dame at home and penn state away. Which i think are power spread based off of last years. This maybe anecdotal but I found there play call predicable where early in the game it’s 1st and 2nd its a run inside with a smattering of rpos if 3rd down pass usually outside the numbers unless first down is less than 2 yards then its inside zone. If they are down 2 score or more 1st down is passes outside number for less than 4 yards or RPO pass into bubble or screen. 2nd and 3rd downs passes inside for 5-15 yards. If anybody feels the same I would like some sort of confirmation/explanation or the thread could flame me for just small sample of games.
